Privacy Policy

WS Technologies (“Watsell”, “we”, “us”) operates the website watsell.ai and the WhatsApp automation platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else touches it.

From the businesses who subscribe to Watsell:

• Business name, contact email and phone number
• The knowledge base and instructions you write for your assistant — prices, policies, opening hours and similar
• Account credentials, stored only as a salted hash

From your customers, when you connect a WhatsApp or Messenger channel and authorise us via the Meta API:

• Message content sent to and from your business account, including voice notes, which are transcribed to text
• The sender’s WhatsApp number or Messenger ID, used to keep a conversation in one thread

To operate the service: to receive messages sent to your business, to generate replies, and to send those replies on your behalf. To provide customer support when you ask for it. To keep a conversation transcript so you can check what your assistant actually said.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the platform:

• Meta Platforms — to send and receive messages through the WhatsApp Business API and the Messenger Platform.
• Groq — message content is sent to Groq’s inference API to generate a reply. Voice notes are transcribed there too.
• Neon — our database provider, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, where account data and message history are stored.
• Vercel — hosts the application and processes requests.
• Microsoft — handles email sent to and from our @watsell.ai addresses.

We may also disclose data where required by law. Because these providers operate internationally, data may be processed outside Iraq.

Account data is retained while your account is active. Conversation history is retained so you can review it, and is deleted when you close your account or ask us to remove it.

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed with a per-account salt and never stored in readable form. Access to the database is restricted to our servers; it is never exposed to a browser. Incoming webhooks from Meta are cryptographically verified, so a third party cannot inject messages into your account.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data we will tell you.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing info@watsell.ai. See our data deletion instructions.

Deleting data held by Watsell does not delete messages held in your own WhatsApp Business account — those are controlled by you and Meta.

Watsell is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Signing in to the dashboard sets one essential cookie to keep you logged in.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
